Tripoli Municipality Organizes Theater Performance for Children
The Social Committee of the Tripoli Municipality organized a theatrical performance for children, orphans, and people with disabilities.
The event took place in the courtyard of Al-Muntada Park at the port. The Folk Arts Troupe presented the performance.
The play was titled “The Forest… Is Also Our Home.” It was chaired by director and producer Tawfiq Al-Masri.
Promoting Values Through Theater
Al-Masri explained the objectives of the play and the messages it seeks to deliver to children.
He said the performance promotes important values, principles, and guidance. These lessons can help children in their lives and future.
The activity also aimed to combine entertainment with education in a positive and engaging environment.
Municipality Highlights Community Cooperation
Dr. Bassem Assaf, a Municipal Council member representing Tripoli Mayor Dr. Abdul Hamid Karima, also spoke during the event.
He emphasized the municipality’s cooperation with all segments of society in Tripoli.
In particular, he highlighted the importance of supporting children, younger generations, and people in need.
Assaf noted that municipalities were established to provide public services and respond to the needs of residents.

More Than 300 Participants
More than 300 children, teachers, and counselors participated in the event.
Members of the Technical Committee, a subcommittee of the Social Committee of the Tripoli Municipality, were also present.
The large participation reflected the importance of community activities that bring children together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The Social Committee thanked the administration of Al-Muntada Park and everyone who helped organize the event.
It also thanked school administrations, orphanages, associations, and all contributors who helped make the day a success.
