The Port of Beirut Welcomes Three Giant Ships in a Single Day

The Port of Beirut issued the following statement:

In an exceptional operational feat that reflects the growing capabilities of the Port of Beirut and its role in maritime transport and trade,

The Port received three giant “Mother Vessel”-class ships in a single day, despite the exceptional circumstances currently facing the region.

The three ships docked at Berth 16 on Wednesday, September 23. They are:
CMA CGM D’ARTAGNAN, 366 meters long
MSC SARA ELENA, 300 meters long.
CMA CGM MOZART, 278 meters long.

This scene demonstrates the Port of Beirut’s ability to continue operating with high efficiency.

The reception and handling of these giant vessels reflect the port’s ongoing improvement in operational readiness, achieved through coordination and cooperation with CMA Beirut Terminal.
It also reflects part of the continuous development process that has been underway for several months.

In parallel with the ongoing expansion and modernization projects, this effort is part of the port’s strategy to consolidate its position as a major maritime gateway for Lebanon and the region and to strengthen its role as a regional logistics hub and a key driver of the national economy.
