The Lebanon Tennis Cup came to a close at the Koura Tennis Club courts in Bshamzin.
The tournament took place in a festive sporting atmosphere. It attracted male and female players from different age groups, along with officials, athletes, and tennis fans.
Members of the Koura Parliament attended the closing ceremony. Several mayors, club presidents, and local dignitaries also joined the event.
Alan Sayegh, president of the Lebanese Tennis Federation, was also present.
The tournament featured several competitions. Men competed in singles categories for players over 35 and over 45. The event also included a men’s doubles competition for players over 35.
Meanwhile, boys and girls under 11 participated in singles and doubles matches.
At the end of the tournament, organizers awarded trophies and prizes to the winners. They also presented medals and certificates to the club’s junior players in recognition of their participation and efforts.
Alan Sayegh praised the Koura Tennis Club and its president, Ibrahim Abu Shaheen, for organizing the tournament successfully.
In addition, Sayegh reaffirmed the Lebanese Tennis Federation’s support for the club and its activities.
For his part, Abu Shaheen said the club remains ready to host more tournaments in the future.
The success of the Lebanon Tennis Cup in Al-Koura highlights the growing interest in developing tennis in Lebanon.
Moreover, the tournament supports young talent and encourages new generations to take part in official competitions.
