The Class Concludes Its Summer with a Scout Night

The “National Education Scouts” troop concluded its summer activities with a campfire evening titled “The Well-Behaved Horse Evening.”

The event was attended by municipal, educational, and social leaders, as well as representatives from Civil Defense and the Scout Movement.

Troop Leader Hassan Ali opened the evening with a speech in which he reflected on the Al-Dora Troop’s journey over the past thirteen years.

He emphasized that Scouting work continues and that its banner is passed down from generation to generation.

For his part, the mayor of Al-Dawra, Qamar Al-Sahmarani, praised the town’s youth, affirming the municipality’s continued support for the troop’s activities.

He noted that the campfire symbolizes love, belonging, and hope.

Similarly, Mahmoud Adel Al-Sahmarani, principal of Al-Dora Public School, described the troop as a “second school” that fosters citizenship and commitment.

He highlighted the camps, volunteer activities, and training courses the troop organized during the summer.

The evening included Scouting and artistic performances, as well as skits on patriotism and generosity, presented by the Scouts and their leaders.

The troop also honored Hisham Abdul Sater, General Commissioner of the “National Education Scouts,” with a handmade gift crafted by its members.

In his closing remarks, Abdul Sater emphasized the importance of order and discipline in Scouting.

He called for cooperation among parents, schools, the community, and the Scout Movement to build generations capable of serving the nation. The evening concluded with the Scout salute, affirming the troop’s commitment to continuing its educational mission.
