The Lebanese American University celebrated the graduation of the 101st session of the year two thousand and twenty-six at its campuses in Byblos and Beirut.
Official, academic and family attendance
Two thousand three hundred and thirty-seven male and female students received their university degrees in the presence of a large official, academic and family audience.
In addition, the President of the University, Shawki Abdullah, stressed in his speech that the graduates faced exceptional challenges, from the economic crisis and the Corona pandemic to the explosion of the port of Beirut and the wars.
A generation that makes a difference
Therefore, he considered that they are a generation capable of making change and rebuilding Lebanon.
He pointed out that the university, which is entering its second centenary, has continued its march despite the crises, and has expanded globally through international partnerships and a university campus in New York.
To carry Lebanon in their hearts
Abdullah called on the graduates to carry Lebanon in their hearts wherever they go and work for its future.
Finally, the celebrations included speeches by outstanding students and the distribution of appreciation awards to a number of distinguished graduates in various colleges and disciplines.
