Lebanon Weather: When Will the Hot Air Masses Subside?

The intensity of the heat waves still affecting Lebanon’s weather is easing slightly, with a modest drop in temperatures today along the coast and in the mountains.

However, temperatures will remain in the 40s in the Bekaa Valley before the heat wave subsides completely by midweek, at which point the weather will return to typical hot summer conditions and remain that way for several days.

– Temperatures: 27–33 along the coast, 18–40 in the Bekaa, and 21–30 at 1,000 meters
– Average surface humidity along the coast: 60%
– Winds: westerly, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h

– Visibility: good
– Sea conditions: low waves, with a water surface temperature of 29 degrees

As for the weather forecast for the next two days:
– Tuesday: Few clouds, with temperatures ranging from 26 to 32 along the coast and from 18 to 40 inland.

Temperatures will range from 21 to 29 at 1,000 meters, with southwesterly winds at speeds between 10 and 30 km/h

– Wednesday: Sunny to partly cloudy with fog forming; temperatures ranging from 24 to 31 along the coast.

Temperatures will range from 18 to 40 inland and from 19 to 28 at 1,000 meters.

Winds will be from the southwest at speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
