Celebrations for the Feast of St. George of Fitroun, the town’s patron saint, have begun, as Fitroun celebrates the feast of its patron saint.
The celebration included the Divine Liturgy presided over by Father George Breidy, a Lebanese missionary.
He was assisted by the parish priest, Father Elie Matar, and Father Charbel Qassis.
After the Divine Liturgy, parishioners attended a spiritual gathering with Father George Breidy titled “Between Rome and Lebanon: The Grace of the Present Moment: God’s Free Gift and Constant Listening to the Holy Spirit.”
The celebrations and spiritual gatherings continue in an atmosphere of joy and faith, bringing together parishioners and visitors to the town through Sunday, September 6.
