As part of its cultural activities, the municipality of Kfarabida organized a meeting on the book “From Kfarbida to New York” by the writer Michel Al-Zubaidi, at the municipality center. At this event, a book was launched from Kfar Beida to New York.

After the national anthem, the mayor gave a speech welcoming the attendees.
He praised the step of the writer Zubaidi, stressing that the municipality “supports cultural initiatives”.

Al-Zubaidi then gave a speech. In his remarks, he thanked the audience for their participation in the launch of his first book.

He presented the content of his book. It “tells the story of Youssef, in a human journey inspired by the biography of a Lebanese family through generations”.
It documents “stages from the history of Kfar Bida and Lebanon, to the expasy in New York.”
He pointed out that the book, although it is based on historical facts, is in essence a human story. Moreover, it is a message of loyalty to the ancestors.
