IRCADE Lebanon is launching the first course in Robotic Gynecology.
This will be held next Thursday at Mashreq Hospital. The event will have the participation of Lebanese and international experts in gynecologic and robotic surgery.
On the other hand, the course will be supervised by the President of IRCADE Lebanon and the Director of Mashreq. The supervisor is Prof. Antoine Maalouf.
This is part of the Center’s mission to transfer the latest surgical techniques to Lebanon and the region.

In addition, IRCADE Lebanon is the first center of its kind in the Middle East. It is part of the International Network for Education, Research and Innovation in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery.
The course was moderated by the head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the hospital, Prof. Elie Anastasiades. The principal surgeon was Prof. Kabi Mouawad.
He is one of the world’s leading specialists in endometriosis treatment and advanced pelvic surgeries.
In addition to Dr. Bassel Abu Zeid, who is in charge of managing the scientific sessions.
This program includes scientific presentations on the latest technologies used in the treatment of endometriosis.

The course also included scientific sessions on the role of robots in advanced gynecological surgeries.

On the other hand, this course is part of a series of training programs organized by IRCAD Lebanon. The aim is to provide advanced surgical education within Lebanon.
