The activities of the “Summer of Andaqat One Thousand and Twenty-Six” festival, organized by Tadbeer Association in cooperation with the Municipality of Andaqat, have been launched, and will continue until the first of August, amid a large attendance.
The celebration began with the national anthem, followed by the opening paragraphs of Josephine Daher.
Mayor Tani Hanna confirmed to the attendees that “the festival is a message of love from the people of Andaqt to the neighboring villages and everyone who comes to the town, to live the atmosphere of joy.”
“This year, the festival has been extended to a full month, with the aim of giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful times with their families.
This is within a large area that connects the festival square with Yasmina Park and its surroundings.
Where recreational games for children and young people are widespread.
“Allocating spaces for heritage exhibits, handicrafts and local cuisine contributes to moving the economic wheel,” he said.
He stressed that Andaqat opens its doors, like the hearts of its people, to every visitor, reinforcing and honored.
“The festival carries multiple cultural, social and tourism goals, through artistic concerts and entertainment activities,” he said.
In addition to enhancing the belonging of the younger generations to their town and consolidating the values of citizenship.
“Like Akkar, Anandaq will remain, a spacious space for one to live,” he said.
The evening culminated in an artistic celebration by the artist Rashid Najjar.
An integrated team of reception and organization worked with high readiness.
