A heat wave is affecting Lebanon, bringing typical summer weather today, while another heat wave is expected to move toward Lebanon tomorrow.
Temperatures will gradually rise and become above average, especially toward the end of this week.
The hot air masses will return and then subside early next week.
These air masses will peak between Friday and Sunday.
The most affected areas are eastern Lebanon, where temperatures are expected to reach the 40s in the Bekaa Valley.
Meanwhile, temperatures will reach 33 degrees in the mountains and 36 degrees on the coast (Sunday).
Please note that humidity significantly increases the sensation of heat on the coast and in nearby areas.
