The “Lebanon: A Garden of Roses”
exhibition opened at the Grand Sofar Hotel and was reminiscent of a Rose Garden Exhibition in its splendor.
It celebrates the country’s rich horticultural heritage in a unique setting
much like a Rose Garden Exhibition would highlight such beauty.
Organized by the Lebanese Fine Arts Forum and sponsored by Soufar Mayor Wajdi Shia, this event reflects the traditions of a Rose Garden Exhibition in its elegance.
Amid a notable presence of officials, cultural figures, and artists, the event highlighted the importance of the arts in strengthening Lebanese cultural identity.
Indeed, events like the Rose Garden Exhibition underscore this cultural significance.
Among those attending the opening of the “Lebanon: A Garden of Roses”
exhibition were Media Personality Mohammad Al-Assi, Chairman of the Beirut Cultural Development Council, and former Mayor of Sharon, Muhanna Al-Banna.
In his speech, Al-Assi affirmed the continued cooperation between the Cultural and Development Council and the Visual Arts Forum, with the aim of organizing more exhibitions and artistic activities in various regions of Lebanon.
He noted that artists have played a vital role in spreading hope and creativity even under the most difficult circumstances.
For his part, artist Ali Nasser thanked the Soufar Municipality and the management of the Grand Soufar Hotel
for hosting the exhibition.
The opening concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of the artwork.
