President Joseph Aoun was briefed by the head of the Episcopal Committee for Media, Bishop of the Maronite Diocese of Batroun Munir Khairallah, and the director of the Catholic Media Center, Monsignor Abdo Abou Kasm, on the draft of a book titled “Blessed Are the Peacemakers.”
The book documents, through photos and text, the visit of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to Lebanon last year.
The book will be launched during a ceremony to be held at the Patriarchal Seat in Bkerke, on the first anniversary of the visit.
President Aoun also discussed with Energy Minister Joe Saddi the state of electricity in the country and the measures being taken to boost production at power plants.
