Venice University Earns Five Stars

Venice University has achieved a new international academic milestone by earning a five-star overall rating.

Under the “OS Stars” system, it has become the only university in Lebanon currently listed in this prestigious overall rating.

This five-star rating, awarded to the University of Venice in April 2026, reflects an outstanding level of institutional performance.

The system relies on a comprehensive, evidence-based evaluation covering various aspects of university operations,

These include the quality of education, the learning environment, graduate employability, facilities, international engagement, governance, diversity, innovation, and societal impact.

University President Dr. Imad Zbib emphasized that this achievement reflects Venice University’s ongoing commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and development.

He noted that the ranking represents a responsibility to continue striving for excellence and to strengthen the university’s role in serving the community and advancing higher education.

The university has also continued to strengthen its international presence by recently obtaining “IASP” accreditation.

In addition to developing its academic programs, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and educational technology,

the university is keeping pace with digital transformations and the future needs of the job market.

This achievement reaffirms the University of Venice’s position as one of Lebanon’s leading academic institutions.

It also reinforces its vision of providing a modern education that combines quality, innovation, and openness to global standards.
