Manchester City announced that it has officially signed Senegalese international winger Eliman Ndiaye from Everton in a massive deal that British media estimate is worth approximately 75 million euros, including bonuses.
Ndiaye, 26, signed a five-year contract with Manchester City, marking the start of a new and important chapter in his professional career. The player previously played for Sheffield United from 2020 to 2023, before moving to Marseille in France and then joining Everton, where he played for the past two seasons.
Ilyman Ndiaye scored 15 goals in 67 Premier League appearances for Everton, delivering impressive performances that caught the attention of Manchester City.
The Senegalese player expressed his delight at the move, emphasizing that he had worked his entire life for an opportunity like this, and described Manchester City as one of the best clubs in the world.
Ndiaye is expected to bolster the attacking options for Italian manager Enzo Maresca’s team, particularly on the right flank, which has been affected by the departure of Brazilian Savinho to Tottenham. Ndiaye will face stiff competition for a starting spot, given the presence of Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo and new Brazilian signing Alan.
