State Security graduates “Sword of the Homeland” class

A message on upholding the law and preserving the state’s authority was delivered to graduates of the military training course in Aramoun—male and female recruits who took the oath and trained in security duties.

The Internal Security Forces Institute in Aramoun held a graduation ceremony for the “Sword of the Homeland” course, marking the conclusion of the military and conduct training program for trainee officers at the General Directorate of State Security.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of security and judicial agencies, along with a number of officers and instructors.

The event included a military parade, an exchange of commemorative shields, the graduates’ oath-taking ceremony, and a simulation of security operations carried out by male and female graduates.

Brigadier General Youssef Chidiac, representing State Security Director General Brigadier General Edgar Lawandos, affirmed that “the selection of graduates was based on standards of competence and merit.”

He urged them to “abide by the law and protect the state’s authority without any abuse of power.”

He also pointed to “the efforts of State Security leadership to develop security and administrative work and enhance health and social care for personnel, retirees, and their families.”

For his part, Brigadier General Ahmad Abla, commander of the institute and representative of ISF Director General Major General Raed Abdullah, stressed the importance of training in shaping security personnel equipped with professional skills.

The ceremony concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields, followed by a cocktail reception held for the occasion.
