The Ministry of Culture announced that it is accepting nominations for the 2027 Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.
The awards are organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the United States of America.
The relevant committee establishes the criteria and process for selecting the Lebanese film to compete for the 2027 Academy Awards.
The deadline for receiving applications is Monday, September 14.
All applications must be submitted to the General Directorate of Cultural Affairs—Ministry of Culture at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut, first floor,
during official working hours, and must also be sent to the email address provided.

Each application must include the following documents:
1. A letter of nomination addressed to the Ministry of Culture—General Directorate of Cultural Affairs.
2. A one-page synopsis.
3. Promotional materials available for marketing.
4. Proof of film screenings.
5. A promotional plan in the event the film is selected.
Each film must ensure that it meets all the requirements specified by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
