The students of the Antonine University graduated one thousand and twenty-six residences at its main campus in Al-Hadat, Baabda, under the slogan “The seeds of success grow without limits.”
The ceremony was attended by the university’s patron, Abbot Joseph Bou Raad, the university’s president, Father Michel Seghbini, and the vice president of the House of Representatives, Elias Bou Saab.
The graduation ceremony of the students of the Antonine University was also attended by two thousand students, twenty-six deputies, official and academic figures, and the students’ parents.
Distribution of Certificates to Graduates
The ceremony witnessed the distribution of certificates to the graduates of the university’s branches in Al-Hadat, Nabi Ayla, Zahle, and Majdalya-Zgharta, in addition to honoring the outstanding students with scholarships and awards.
The University believes in the ability of its students
In his speech, Father Michel Al-Seghbini stressed that the university believes in the ability of its students to transcend borders and achieve success around the world.
He said that the graduation of students is not the end of the road, but the beginning of a new phase full of opportunities and creativity.
He also called on graduates to overcome the boundaries of fear and hesitation, stressing that the greatest successes start from believing in personal abilities.
Tips for Graduates
For her part, the guest of honor, Mrs. Mireille Hayek “M. Sharif”, gave four pieces of advice to the graduates, most notably maintaining humility and positive thinking.
She stressed that success is not tied to a specific time or place, but to will and continuous action.
The graduation ceremony of the students of the Antonine University concluded with the distribution of certificates and scholarships, amid an atmosphere of pride and joy.
Thus, the students completed their study journey and began preparing for the stage of practical life.
