Antonine University celebrated the graduation of 1,026 students at its main campus in Hadat-Baabda. The ceremony took place under the slogan, “The Seeds of Success Grow Without Limits.”
University patron Abbot Joseph Bou Raad attended the event. University President Father Michel Seghbini and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elias Bou Saab also joined the ceremony.
In addition, 26 members of parliament attended alongside official and academic figures. The graduates’ families also shared in the celebration.
Certificates Presented to Graduates
The university presented certificates to graduates from its campuses in Hadat-Baabda, Nabi Ayla-Zahle, and Mejdlaya-Zgharta.
It also honored outstanding students with scholarships and special awards.
The University Believes in Its Students
During his speech, Father Michel Seghbini expressed confidence in the graduates. He said they could cross borders and achieve success around the world.
He also explained that graduation does not mark the end of their journey. Instead, it opens a new chapter filled with opportunities and creativity.
Furthermore, he encouraged graduates to overcome fear and hesitation. He stressed that great achievements begin with confidence and belief in personal abilities.
Advice for the Graduates
Guest of honor Mireille Hayek, founder of Em Sherif, shared four pieces of advice with the graduates.
Most importantly, she encouraged them to remain humble and think positively. She also reminded them that success does not depend on a specific time or place.
Instead, success requires determination, hard work, and continuous effort.
The ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates, scholarships, and awards. Pride and joy filled the university campus as families celebrated the graduates.
The students have now completed their academic journey. As a result, they are ready to begin a new stage in their professional lives.
