The Bremmana Running Festival Kicks Off in August

The Beirut Marathon Association, in partnership with the Municipality of Bremmana, is organizing the “Bremmana Running Festival” on Sunday, August 23

in a sporting and tourism event aimed at strengthening Barmana’s position as one of Lebanon’s leading tourist destinations.

It also aims to promote sports and attract visitors from across Lebanon.

This festival is being organized based on a belief in the pivotal role that sports play.

In particular, running helps to reinforce the values of national unity and foster communication among young people.

It also aims to promote healthy lifestyles and develop the physical and mental abilities of participants, in line with the message of peace championed by the Beirut Marathon Association.

The festival includes three races suitable for different age groups, according to the following schedule:

_ 4-kilometer Race (Competitive): Ages 18 and up.

This race is designed to test speed and physical ability on a course that winds through the main streets of Burmana.

The meet-up time is set for 6:30 a.m., with the race starting at 7:30 a.m.

_ 2-kilometer race (for youth): Ages 8 to 17.

This race aims to encourage young people to participate in sports and discover the beauty of nature and the heritage sites in Barmana.

Participants should gather at 7:30 a.m., with the race starting at 8:30 a.m.

_ 4-kilometer Fun Run: Open to all ages.

It allows participants to enjoy a sporting and entertaining atmosphere on the streets of Barmana.

She noted that participants will gather at 8:30 a.m. and the race will start at 9:30 a.m.

Finally, it should be noted that registration for the race is available through the “Beirut Marathon” platform.
