The Al-Maqasid Islamic Scouts Association held the Central Campfire Evening to conclude the activities of the Beirut Commission Camp at the Al-Maqasid Scout City in Aria.
In attendance were Diana Tabara, President of the Islamic Al-Maqasid Charitable Association in Beirut
Faiza Qanbar, Vice President of the Islamic Scouts Association; and other interested parties.
The evening began with Tabara being presented with the Association’s scarf
as an official symbol of her joining the Scout Association family.
The evening featured an entertainment program and skits that reflected
the atmosphere of joy, cooperation, and the positive values the participants had acquired during the camp.
In addition, musical performances were presented by the Association’s Central Band.
In closing, Beirut Commissioner Commander Wissam Al-Shami addressed the leaders and trainers, commending them for their “tremendous efforts and dedication to making the camp a success.”
He thanked the scouts’ parents for “their precious and ongoing trust in the Islamic Makassed Scouts Association as an educational and scouting incubator for their children.”
