Saida Participates in the Arab Cities Conference in Salalah The Municipality of Saida is participating in the 20th General Assembly of the Organization of Arab Cities and the 64th meeting of its Executive Council.
The event is being held in the Salalah Wilayat in the Dhofar Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman from September 7 to 8.
The municipality is represented at the conference by the Deputy Mayor of Saida, Dr. Ahmad Akra, and Municipal Council member Mr. Amer Ma’ti.
The conference program includes discussions on vital issues related to urban development in Arab cities.
Among the highlights are sessions on the transition to smart cities, cybersecurity,
and the future of sustainable urban mobility, in addition to a panel discussion for city leaders titled “Toward an Arab Agenda for Urban Development.”
The goal is to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation among Arab municipalities and cities.
