MP Sajih Attieh said after his meeting with President Joseph Aoun that “the meeting was positive.”
We discussed the general situation, and the President is committed to national unity, civil peace and Lebanon’s neutrality, and determined to achieve sovereignty.
He added: “We are counting heavily on the current administration and its approach to governance.”
He continued: “We touched on depositors’ funds, the need to speed up work on the René Mouawad Airport file, the issue of the Lebanese University, and matters related to the North.”
