The Executive Committee of the West Asian Modern Pentathlon Federation held its fourth meeting in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, with all its members, including committee member Eng. Roukoz Zoghaib.
The meeting discussed the agenda of the meeting and approved all its items.
It was an occasion where Eng. Zghaib raised the harassment of the Lebanese Football Federation by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Lebanon.
He revealed in the documents and facts the injustice inflicted on the clubs affiliated with the Federation.
This is due to the application of technical conditions that do not take into account the international technical conditions approved by the International Federation.
In light of this reality, the Executive Committee of the West Asian Modern Pentathlon Federation decided to stand by the Lebanese Federation.
It also decided to provide full support to all Lebanese and international authorities.
This was in order to preserve a federation that has done a lot in Lebanese, Asian and international countries and has published the modern pentathlon game, which has been appreciated and respected by all international references.
The meeting also praised the international results achieved by the Lebanese Football Federation as well as the speed of the spread of sports in Lebanon.
The meeting pledged to file a complaint with the Asian and international federations and to take the necessary measures to protect the Lebanese Federation and its clubs.
