The European Lebanese Medical Association congratulated three professionals of Lebanese descent in France and honored Lebanese medical professionals in France.
This came after they received prestigious French national honors, affirming that these accolades reflect the excellence of Lebanese professionals in the healthcare sector and their service to the community.
Dr. Ghada Hatem Gantzer was awarded the rank of Officer in the French Order of the Legion of Honor.
This recognition honors her career dedicated to defending women’s rights and health.
She is the founder of “Dar al-Nisa” in Saint-Denis and also contributes to similar initiatives in Lebanon.
Professor George Abi Lahoud was awarded the rank of Knight in the National Order of Merit.
This honors his scientific and medical career in neurosurgery and his contributions to the French healthcare sector.
Physical therapist George Nasr was also awarded the rank of Knight in the Order of the Legion of Honor, crowning more than 40 years of work and service.
The Association emphasized that honoring these distinguished Lebanese professionals enhances Lebanon’s image abroad and highlights the contributions of its citizens in the medical, scientific, and humanitarian fields.
