Artist Mohamed Shaker has put an end to the controversy surrounding the circulation of photos and videos attributed to his father, the artist
Fadl Shaker, over the past few days, confirming that the material being circulated does not represent any new or official appearance by the artist,
and urging the public to verify the authenticity of the content before reposting it.
Mohamed Shaker: No New Appearance by Fadel Shaker
Mohamed Shaker posted a clarification via the “Story” feature on his Instagram account,
in which he confirmed that all photos and videos of his father circulating during this period are not recent,
explaining that they are either old photos or content generated using artificial intelligence.
He said:
“All the photos and videos currently being shared as if they were of my father, the artist Fadel Shaker, are
either old or AI-generated, and there have been no new or official appearances by him.”
A Call for Verification Before Sharing Content
Mohamed Shaker called on followers and social media platforms to verify the authenticity of any photo
or video clip before sharing it, to avoid spreading inaccurate information or misleading content.
He added,
“We hope everyone will exercise caution and not share any content before verifying its authenticity.”
He also asked for respect for the difficult time artist Fadel Shaker is currently going through,
noting that he needs time and rest before returning to the public eye or meeting his fans.
He said,
“I also ask you to respect this sensitive phase,
and to give Fadel Shaker the time and rest he has requested before he returns to meet his fans.”
