The Forecasting Department at the Meteorology Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with no significant change in temperatures.
Fog is expected over the mountains, with scattered rain that will intensify at times, especially in the northern regions, along with occasional lightning, thunder and active winds. Clear spells are expected from time to time.
The bulletin stated the following:
General conditions: Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin are being affected by a moderately active low-pressure system centered northwest of Turkey, accompanied by relatively cold air masses. Its effect will continue until Sunday noon, when the weather will gradually stabilize.
Average October temperatures: Beirut between 21 and 29 degrees, Tripoli between 20 and 28 degrees, Zahle between 13 and 27 degrees.

Thursday: Generally cloudy with a noticeable drop in temperatures, especially over the mountains and inland areas, where they will fall below seasonal averages. Fog will form over the mountains, reducing visibility. Scattered rain will fall, intensifying at times especially in the northern regions, accompanied by thunderstorms and active winds that will raise sea waves. Some clear spells are expected during the day.
Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with no significant change in temperatures, and fog over the mountains. Scattered rain will fall, intensifying at times especially in the northern regions, with occasional lightning, thunder and active winds. Clear spells are expected from time to time.
Saturday: Partly cloudy to cloudy, with no change in temperatures. Fog over the mountains, with scattered rain in the morning and a chance of lightning and thunder. Rain will ease in the afternoon with wide clear spells.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures and fog over the mountains. Localized rain will fall in the morning in the northern regions, with the weather gradually improving during the day.
– Temperatures on the coast: 19 to 28 degrees; over the mountains: 12 to 21 degrees; inland: 13 to 24 degrees.
– Surface winds: southwesterly, with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h.
– Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 80%.
– Sea condition: rough to very rough, with a sea surface temperature of 27 degrees.
– Atmospheric pressure: 761 mmHg.
