The forecasting department at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy with fog over the mountains.
Temperatures will remain stable, with scattered rain at times, a chance of lightning and thunder, and active winds, interspersed with clearer spells during the day.
The bulletin stated the following:
– General situation:
Unsettled autumn weather is dominating Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures below seasonal averages.
This is due to the effect of a low-pressure system centered southwest of Turkey, causing scattered rain at times.
Lightning, thunder and active winds are expected until Sunday noon, when conditions will gradually stabilize.
Average temperatures for September: Tripoli between 22 and 32°C, Beirut 24 and 32°C, Zahle between 16 and 32°C.

Wednesday:
Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with fog over the mountains and a slight drop in temperatures on the coast and over the mountains.
Temperatures will rise inland, winds will be active, and scattered rain will fall, intensifying at times from the afternoon onward.
This will be especially the case in the northern regions, with lightning and thunder.
Thursday:
Partly cloudy with fog over the mountains and stable temperatures.
Scattered rain at times, with a chance of lightning and thunder and active winds, interspersed with clearer spells during the day.
Friday:
Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with fog over the mountains and stable temperatures.
Scattered rain, intensifying at times especially in the southern regions from the afternoon onward.
With lightning, thunder and active winds that will raise sea waves, clearer spells are expected during the day.
Saturday:
Partly cloudy with fog over the mountains and no notable change in temperatures.
Light, scattered rain at times during the day, with widespread clearer spells expected from the afternoon onward.
– Temperatures on the coast from 21 to 28 degrees, over the mountains from 12 to 20 degrees, inland from 13 to 25 degrees.
– Surface winds: active southwesterly, ranging in speed between 15 and 45 km/h.
– Visibility: moderate on the coast, poor at times over the mountains due to fog.
– Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 80%
– Sea condition: choppy, sea surface temperature: 28°C
