The Municipality of Qubayyat has launched its official website and its own application. This represents a new step to keep pace with the era of digital transformation and the development of public services.
This was during a ceremony held at the municipality building in the presence of Mayor Michel Abdo, members of the municipal council, and administrative staff.
This launch came as part of the municipality’s vision to build a smart municipality that adopts the latest digital means. The goal is to facilitate citizens’ access to services and information.
In addition to enhancing transparency and direct communication with the town’s people inside and outside the country.
The website and application allow citizens to view the municipality’s news, projects and future plans.
In addition, access to e-services, submitting requests and complaints, in addition to following up on announcements, activities, and municipal decisions.
The platform also allows citizens to benefit from the electronic payment service for municipal fees through electronic applications.
This has facilitated the completion of transactions, saved time and effort, promoted digital transformation in municipal work and improved the quality of services.
The launch coincided with the announcement of the completion of the first phase of the house numbering project. Additionally, it involved the installation of street signs.
The aim is to organize addresses within the town, facilitate access to homes and institutions, support the work of official, security and ambulance agencies, and improve urban planning and municipal services.
Mayor Michel Abdo stressed that this project constitutes the beginning of an integrated path of development projects. These projects aim to modernize the municipal administration.
In addition to adopting smart solutions, the municipality works to promote local development in line with the aspirations of the people of Qubayat. Furthermore, it seeks to consolidate its position as a leading town in municipal and development work.
