Jack Grealish is close to returning to Everton

Manchester City forward Jack Grealish is set to return to Everton on loan until the end of the season.

This comes as the summer transfer window enters its final hours.

According to the British news agency, the two clubs have reached an agreement for the 30-year-old Grealish to join Everton for a second consecutive season.

The player had suffered a serious injury that cut short his previous stint with the team last January.

Grealish performed well for Everton before his injury.

He scored two goals and had six assists in 22 matches.

He also remained with the club during his recovery in the second half of the season.

In contrast, the player has appeared in two matches for Manchester City this season. He came on as a substitute against Arsenal in the Community Shield.

He then played in the 2-1 victory over Bournemouth in the opening round of the Premier League.

Jack Grealish’s return to Everton coincides with Manchester City’s agreement with the same club to sign winger Eliman Ndiaye in a deal that could be worth 65 million pounds, or about $88 million.
