Graduation Ceremony for the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Engineering, Class of 2025–2026.
The ceremony took place at Mar Doumit High School of the Antonine Sisters in Roumieh.
In attendance were University President Dr. Bassam Badran, the deans of the Faculty’s branches, as well as academic, union, and security figures, and the graduates’ families.
Speeches delivered during the ceremony emphasized the importance of the Lebanese University as a national institution that has produced thousands of talented engineers who have proven their success in Lebanon and abroad.
Dr. Karen Al-Qassis, Director of the Second Branch, also stressed the need to support the Lebanese University.
as it is a cornerstone in nation-building and investing in the future of young people.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Nazih Mubayyad, highlighted the students’ most notable achievements in scientific and programming competitions and debates.
He also noted the expansion of academic exchange programs and international partnerships.
He emphasized the ongoing development of educational programs to keep pace with artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering, and digital transformation.
For his part, University President Dr. Bassam Badran announced that the university had made remarkable progress in global rankings.
He noted that this achievement reflects the quality of education and scientific research and strengthens the Lebanese University’s standing on the international stage.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas to the graduates, a milestone that underscores the Lebanese University’s continued commitment to preparing engineers who possess the competence and innovation to serve Lebanon and the world.
