President Joseph Aoun asked Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj to crack down on those responsible for fraud and trafficking in spoiled medicines, foodstuffs, and meat.
He also called for coordination with the relevant ministries and administrations to ensure food and drug safety.
It is worth noting that Judge Al-Hajj is following the various files facing Lebanon.
He visited Baabda Palace and met with President Joseph Aoun, where they reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon.
President Joseph Aoun also held a series of meetings at Baabda Palace, during which he discussed various issues with his visitors.
