The Council of Arab Information Ministers has issued a resolution calling for support for the Lebanese Ministry of Information.
The resolution was issued at the request of the ministry, with a particular focus on supporting and developing the radio sector.
The resolution (No. Q/595 D.O./56, dated 4/11/2026) was issued after reviewing the presentation memorandum submitted by the General Secretariat of the Council.
It also took into account the memorandum of the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Lebanon No. 360/C/2, dated 14 May 2026.
The Council also heard the interventions of the delegations of participating countries, based on the needs presented by Lebanese Minister of Information Attorney Dr. Paul Morcos, and the correspondence and communications conducted in this regard.
The resolution calls on member states, organizations, and associations engaged in media work to provide the necessary and vital support to the Lebanese Ministry of Information.
This support is intended to help the ministry carry out its duties, particularly by backing the radio sector and enabling it to face current challenges.
