The Al-Arz Tennis Cup continued with matches on the ninth day of the tournament, organized by the Barmana Sports Club on the courts of Barmana High School.
Under the supervision of the Lebanese Tennis Federation and under the patronage of Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Nora Bayrakdarian.
The event featured a highly competitive atmosphere and broad participation across various age groups.
In the boys’ division, Omar Marqabawi advanced after defeating Malek Dandashi two sets to one.
Meanwhile, William Qurban defeated Daniel Dallal.
Sami Mashalani also secured a spot in the Under-15 category after defeating Theo Al-Shaabi.
The men’s singles competition saw victories for Yan Alftariadis, Anthony Makrzal, Ralph Farah, William Jad, and Elie Elia.
They delivered strong performances against their opponents.
In the 45-and-under veterans’ category, Maroun Najm and Mark Doumit secured victories to continue their runs in the tournament.
On the women’s side, Qamar Abdul Hay won the 11-and-under category.
Meanwhile, Liana Al-Samad, Rina Al-Jisr, and Kaya Shukiban shone in the women’s singles competition,
They have confirmed their readiness for the next stages of the tournament.
The tournament continues to attract Lebanon’s top talent, with matches that reflect the advancing level of tennis in Lebanon.
