Lebanon’s Weather Is Stable: What About the Temperatures?

Typical summer weather will prevail across Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin throughout the week.

Temperatures will be above seasonal averages inland, in the mountains, and in coastal areas.

Average temperatures for September: Tripoli between 22 and 32°C, Beirut between 24 and 32°C, and Zahle between 16 and 32°C.

Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Monday: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and stable temperatures along the coast.

Temperatures will rise inland and in the mountains, exceeding seasonal averages, with occasional strong winds.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures.

Wednesday: Generally mostly sunny with fog in the highlands and a slight drop in temperatures inland and in the mountains.

Thursday: Clear to partly cloudy with fog in the highlands and no significant change in temperatures in the mountains.

In the interior, temperatures will drop slightly, while in coastal areas they will decrease only slightly.

Surface winds: North to northwest, occasionally brisk, with speeds ranging from 15 to 40 km/h.
Visibility: Moderate along the coast, occasionally poor at higher elevations due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 and 80 percent.
Sea conditions: low to moderate wave heights.

Atmospheric pressure: 1,013 hectopascals, equivalent to 760 mm Hg.
