The German University Institute’s German Center in Tripoli organized its 2026 annual dinner in Tripoli.
The event celebrated a new cohort of students who had obtained German visas to pursue their university studies in Germany.
The celebration at the German Center in Tripoli was attended by religious
, educational, and social figures, as well as the students’ families.
Sheikh Muhammad Imam, Mufti of Tripoli and the North, participated in the event.
Representatives of several members of parliament were also present, along with principals of public and private elementary and high schools and other educational figures.
Following the dinner banquet, a film was shown highlighting the institute’s key activities and academic programs.
In addition, testimonials were shared by students who had previously moved to Germany to continue their studies.
Dr. Imad Ghannoum, Director of Public Relations, emphasized the importance of supporting students and recognizing the efforts of schools.
>Executive Director Ahmad Melhem explained that the German Center supports students from language learning and guidance all the way through university admission and visa processing.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of a number of school principals and the distribution of certificates to students who obtained German visas.
The event took place in a festive atmosphere and included commemorative photos.
