First Lady Nemat Aoun visited the Monastery of the Holy Family in Ibreen today, Saturday.
The visit was marked by prayer, thanksgiving, and congratulations on the occasion of the beatification of Patriarch Elias Al-Huweik.
She was welcomed by the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family.
Also present were Mrs. Deniz Touq and Mr. Elie Zeidan, organizers of the celebrations for the beatification of Patriarch Elias Al-Huweik and the Mass of Thanksgiving.
In an atmosphere of reverence, the First Lady stood before the tomb of the newly beatified.
She offered thanks to God for this blessing that has enriched the Church and Lebanon.
She then visited the monastery’s museum. The visit coincided with the arrival of the faithful at the monastery to pray and receive blessings on this special occasion.
