Point Zero: A new challenge in Beirut

The Beirut Marathon Association is organizing the first edition of the “Point Zero” event on Sunday, October 4, 2026, on Beirut’s waterfront.

The event will take place over an area of 25,000 square meters, bringing together athletes, fitness and running enthusiasts, and sports clubs for a day full of challenges. The association aims to offer an experience that combines competition and entertainment.

Participants are encouraged to test their abilities and discover their potential amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement.

Point Zero program
Gathering begins at 6 a.m., followed by registration for male and female athletes starting at 7 a.m.

The first group sets off at 8:30 a.m., while the last group starts at 4:50 p.m.

The awards ceremony begins at 6:15 p.m., marking the close of the competitions and celebrating participants’ efforts.

The program also includes a variety of entertainment activities, along with music and food.

The event thus offers Lebanon’s sports community an opportunity to come together and take part in a new experience.

A beginning that aims to continue
The initiative draws on the Beirut Marathon Association’s more than 23 years of experience organizing races and sporting events.

Throughout this journey, the association has brought together thousands of participants under the slogan “Sports and Community.”

It aims to establish “Point Zero” on Lebanon’s sports calendar and develop it into a recurring event. The idea carries a simple message: every beginning opens a new door, and every athlete can push the limits of their abilities, step by step.
