The Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Housing Bank, Antoine Habib, welcomed the decision of the United Arab Emirates to allow its citizens to travel to Lebanon.
In a statement, he considered that this step constitutes a positive and important milestone in the path of brotherly relations. Moreover, it strengthens the bond between the two brotherly countries.
Habib stressed that the decision reflects the depth of Lebanese-Emirati relations. It also opens promising prospects to enhance the economic, tourism and investment movement in Lebanon.
Especially in light of the need to revitalize the various productive and service sectors.
He pointed out that the return of the Emirati and Gulf brothers to Lebanon carries great moral and economic implications.
This is due to their historical role in supporting the Lebanese economy. Furthermore, it is due to their effective contribution to the revitalization of tourism and investment.
He hoped that the decision would mark the beginning of a new phase of openness and cooperation.
This will enhance confidence in Lebanon and reaffirm its position as a distinctive tourist and investment destination in the region.
