Representative Paula Yacoubian said in a statement: “In my previous bill, I proposed the abolition of the independent application exams.”
The Parliament did not adopt it.
Given the Ministry of Education’s delay in administering these exams,
and because the matter can no longer be postponed or put off—and is now threatening students’ futures as the deadline for university admissions approaches—
I have submitted a repeat urgent bill to cancel the open enrollment exams for the current year for various degrees.
I propose issuing certificates in their place and have requested that the bill be presented at the legislative session and approved.
