Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh met at his office in the National Library in Sanayeh with the Lebanese youth delegation participating in the International Children’s Cultural Forum in Moscow.
The forum will take place from August 19 to 23, following an official invitation from the Russian Ministry of Culture.
The young participants attended the meeting alongside their parents. Minister Salameh praised the creative talent demonstrated by the members of the delegation.
According to Salameh, international cultural gatherings provide an important platform for dialogue. They also allow younger generations to exchange experiences and discover different cultures.
Addressing the participants, the minister encouraged them to cooperate and remain connected to their cultural identity. He also urged them to take pride in Lebanon’s national heritage and represent the country in the best possible way.
Salameh stressed the importance of continuing education and training to further develop their artistic talents.
In addition, he encouraged the young participants to build friendships with peers from different cultural backgrounds. He described this exchange as one of the forum’s most important messages.
The minister reaffirmed the Ministry of Culture’s support for initiatives that provide new opportunities for talented young people. Such programs, he noted, can also help build bridges of communication between different communities and nations.
At the end of the meeting, Salameh wished the delegation success during its participation in Moscow.
Lebanon’s delegation includes young talents in music, painting, and acting. The participants are Lamar Shukair, Rita Ajaltouni, Lia Fouani, Daniel Namour, Emmanuel Azar, and Gael Saadeh.
