A heat Weather in Lebanon will be on Sunday

The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expects tomorrow’s weather to be partly cloudy

With a slight rise in temperatures.

The following bulletin was issued:

– General Conditions:

Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin remain under the influence of hot air masses.

This is causing temperatures to rise above seasonal averages.

Temperatures will peak on Sunday, reaching 41°C in inland areas, with high humidity along the coast.

Average temperatures for July: Tripoli between 23°C and 31°C.

Beirut: between 24 and 32°C; Zahle: between 18 and 34°C.

Warning: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, and be cautious of wildfires in forested areas.

Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Friday:

Partly cloudy with no significant change in temperatures, which will remain above seasonal averages.

This is especially true in the mountains and inland, where temperatures will reach 40° in the city of Zahle.

Humidity will also remain high along the coast, increasing the sensation of heat.

Saturday:

Partly cloudy with a slight rise in temperatures, especially in mountainous and inland areas.

Humidity will remain high along the coast, making it feel even hotter. Winds will pick up in the evening in the south of the country.

Sunday:

Partly cloudy with a noticeable rise in temperatures, especially in inland and coastal areas.

Humidity will decrease, and winds will occasionally pick up in the south of the country.

Therefore, we warn of the risk of wildfires in arid areas.

Monday:

Partly cloudy with stable temperatures inland.

Temperatures will drop slightly in the mountains and along the coast.

-Temperatures along the coast will range from 24 to 34 degrees.

In the mountains, from 18 to 33 degrees.

Inland, from 21 to 40 degrees.

Surface winds: Southwesterly during the day, variable and light at night.

Speeds range from 10 to 25 km/h.

-Relative humidity along the coast: Between 65% and 85%.
