The National Commission for Women and the Lebanese American University sign a memorandum of cooperation

The National Commission for Lebanese Women and the Lebanese American University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Lebanese American University (LAU)

The Commission was represented by its first Lebanese President, Nemat Aoun. The Lebanese American University was represented by its President, Dr. Shawki Abdullah.

The signing ceremony was attended by members of the Commission and a delegation from the university.

This is done through the exchange of information and experiences in areas of common interest. As a result, this contributes to the promotion of gender equality.

The National Commission for Women and the Lebanese American University looked forward to collaborating in the preparation and publication of the studies.

The memorandum of cooperation also included the organization of joint activities, awareness sessions and campaigns, and dialogues.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation in the field of training was also emphasized.

The National Authority will host the students of the Lebanese American University to provide them with training opportunities.
