Sixteen professors from a number of branches of the Northern Colleges at the Lebanese University participated in a training course specialized in artificial intelligence and its educational applications. This initiative highlights the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education and its potential to transform teaching and learning.
This course is part of the project “Supporting the Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education in the Middle East”.
It is funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The course was organized by the Agence Université de la Francophonie at its Francophone Digital Centre and the Francophone Employment Centre in Tripoli.
The course was moderated by Dr. Amani Raad, Professor at the College of Engineering – First Branch.
She provided training on the applications of artificial intelligence in the educational field.
The project includes thirteen partner universities in Lebanon, Egypt and Palestine.
It seeks to integrate AI into higher education in a responsible manner.
The project also focuses on training faculty members and developing environments for educational innovation.
In addition to promoting forward-thinking in skills related to artificial intelligence.
