The Lebanese dance troupe Mayas has once again proven its place among the world’s leading performance groups.
This came after the troupe participated in the show presented by international superstar Beyoncé on the final night of the massive celebrations held in New York City.
The event marked the 30th anniversary of her husband’s, global superstar Jay-Z’s, musical career.
The celebration featured three exceptional evenings, punctuated by a series of surprises and appearances by some of the world’s most prominent music stars.
Among them were Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Dr. Dre, Usher, and others, in a celebration that brought together an elite group of the music industry’s biggest names.
The surprise of the final night was Beyoncé’s appearance, which set the stage ablaze with her performance of “Drunk in Love.”
She was accompanied by the Lebanese dance troupe Mayas in a dazzling dance performance that showcased the precision and creativity for which the troupe is renowned on the world’s biggest stages.
Under the direction of Lebanese choreographer Nadim Sharafan, Mayas continues to write its global success story.
The group reaffirmed that Lebanese creativity has a strong presence at major international artistic events, following a series of appearances and performances that have cemented its reputation as one of the world’s leading dance troupes.
