A Teacher’s Decision for His Nephews at Balamand High School

The Municipality of Dedeh, represented by its mayor, Professor Henry Al-Zakhim,

a cooperation agreement with Our Lady of Balamand High School, represented by its principal, Ms. Rola Assaf.

The agreement aims to support the town’s youth and strengthen cooperation with educational institutions.

The agreement allows new students from Dedeh to benefit from a 30 percent discount on tuition.

The discount applies throughout their years of study until graduation, in both the French and English sections.

The agreement was signed in the presence of members of the municipal council and the academic staff.

During the event, Al-Zakhem expressed his pride in this partnership, praising the academic and educational standards of the Balamand institutions.

He also noted his long-standing connection to the institution, having been a student there in high school before becoming a professor at the University of Balamand.

The mayor highlighted the 190-year history of Our Lady of Balamand High School and its contribution to graduating generations who have assumed prominent roles in Lebanon and around the world.

The municipality affirmed that the agreement reflects its belief that investing in education creates a better future. It also expressed its hope for the launch of additional initiatives that will open up horizons of learning and success for the youth of Dedeh.
