American star Taylor Swift walked away empty-handed from the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
Her concert film *Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour — The Final Show* lost all five awards for which it was nominated.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, September 5, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

The special received five nominations in various categories. The nominations included Best Pre-Recorded Variety Show, Best Direction for a Variety Show, and Best Picture Editing.

The film documents the final concert of the Eras Tour world tour. The tour kicked off in March 2023 and concluded in December 2024.
Director Glenn Weiss helmed the project, along with a behind-the-scenes documentary series produced for Disney+.
Swift Praises Her Tour Director

She emphasized that the director succeeded in preserving the audience’s sense of freedom and enjoyment during the concert.
She also highlighted the importance of the rehearsals the film crew conducted with her and the dancers before the final performance.
Swift also praised the crew working behind the scenes. She considered the technical team’s efforts to be an essential part of the visual experience’s success.
She also joked with the audience, saying that the Steadicam operator’s movements were just as worth watching as the dancers’ moves on stage.

Taylor Swift has previously won one Emmy Award during her career. She received it in 2015 in the category of Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media.
The win was for the project “Amex Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience.”
