The management of Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut issued a statement.
It urged travelers to “arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight’s scheduled departure time.”
This is due to heavy travel and high numbers of departing passengers during this period.
It explained that “arriving early allows for a smooth completion of check-in procedures, baggage drop-off, and security screening.”
It also helps reduce congestion and avoid delays, particularly during peak hours.
The airport emphasized that “the various agencies and entities operating at the airport continue to coordinate to ensure the smooth flow of passengers.”
She urged travelers to “follow the instructions of service providers, airlines, and security agencies, and to check flight schedules in advance to ensure a more orderly and smooth travel experience.”
