The General Assembly of the Aaqoura Cultural, Sports and Social Club convened under the chairmanship of its eldest member, Boulos Hanna Saab.
The meeting was attended by 144 members out of a total of 168.
It resulted in the election, by acclamation, of a new board of directors made up of nine members.
The positions on the new board were distributed as follows:
Rachad Philippe Yaghi as president, Antoine Mohsen Younes as vice president, Marcelle Assaad Nasrallah as secretary, and Sakhr Georges Arab as treasurer.
Georges Saeed Massoud as accountant, Sophia Pierre Asasian in charge of public relations, Karen Boulos Saab as head of the Cultural Committee, Simon Georges Saleh as head of the Sports Committee, and Mariale Boulos Yaghi as head of the Social Committee.
The election of the new board affirms the continuity of the club’s path and its cultural, sporting and social role.
It also reflects the members’ keenness to strengthen the club’s presence in the local community and to activate its activities in a way that serves the town’s residents and strengthens the spirit of cooperation and belonging among them.
