Munir Shabib Stars in “Adobe”: A New Achievement

Rafiq Hariri University achieved a new global milestone through the participation of its student, Munir Al-Ashi Shabib, in the finals of the “Adobe Certified Professionals World Championship.”

The competition was held in California, USA, from July 26 to 29.

Sixty students representing 38 countries from around the world participated.

In a statement, the university announced that “Student Shbeib managed to secure eighth place globally.

He represented Rafik Hariri University and Lebanon after competing against an elite group of students specializing in design and digital creativity.

This was under the supervision and guidance of Associate Professor Sirine Sarouji, Chair of the Design Department at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Rafik Hariri University.

The competition involved the execution of a professional project consisting of designing a poster and an advertising campaign for the international series “My Life Is Worth Living.”

The series, which will air soon, explores five moving stories about mental health among adolescents.

It highlights the importance of seeking support, facing psychological challenges, and fostering hope that life is worth living.

The statement noted that this success reaffirms Rafik Hariri University’s commitment to supporting academic and creative excellence,

It also prepares students to be competitive in both the professional and academic worlds, nationally and globally,

thereby opening new horizons for their professional futures and helping to raise Lebanon’s profile on the international stage.
