A delegation from the University of Arts, Sciences, and Technology in Lebanon visited Dr. Elissar Nadaf, Chair of the Board of Directors and General Manager of “Lebanon TV.”
The meeting took place at the television station’s headquarters as part of efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships between national academic and media institutions, specifically between the University of Arts and Lebanon TV.
The delegation included the university’s president, Professor Fawaz Al-Omar; his deputy, Dr. Wael Hamza; the dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, Dr. Amna Al-Mir; and Dr. Muhammad Daaboul.
The university stated in a press release that “the meeting between the University of Arts and Lebanon TV addressed avenues for joint cooperation between the university and Lebanon TV, particularly in the areas of training media students and providing them with hands-on experience.”
In addition to the exchange of academic and technical expertise.
It also included the potential launch of media projects and joint coverage highlighting academic and youth achievements.
The attendees emphasized “the importance of joining forces between the academic institution and the national broadcaster to provide opportunities for Lebanese youth.”
They also stressed the need to develop digital and media skills in line with the demands of the contemporary job market.
